Maps are great way to see where your asian friend lives and learn all you can about the culture. I have selected the country's that seem to have the most interest. Google Maps, that now includes the old Google Local, will increase the coverage to Europe. You can already see satellite images from Holland, Germany, France, Spain, Portugal and get directions in local languages. Google updated the satellite data used for Google Maps so it now has the recently made to Google Earth

Although the maps are incomplete, so you may sometimes get lost, it's interesting to see Google expanding Google Maps ahead of the competition.
